The CORPORATION URREA ARBEALEZ, it is commited to contribute in the development and strengthening of the work of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medellín, "Granjas Infantiles Jesús Obrero" with the implementation of a Guava tech cultive system in the variety Jaibaná, on the hacienda LA SANDALIA facilities, in order to seek a sustainable auto productive system for the project and generate added value to the social work of the Archdiocese, in terms of social bonding of their youth with knowledge transfer for the implementation of technically sophisticated cultive of Guava.

Background

CORPORATION URREA ARBELAEZ in their purpose of seeking training schemes to improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations, conducted a strategic alliance with Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medellín, "Granjas Infantiles Jesús Obrero" to empower young farmers productive and sustainable efficient models, that in the future they generate alternative employment or self-employment, enabling them to improve their quality of life and their families.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Transfer practical knowledge in tech cultive of Guava variety Jaibaná to the young beneficiaries of the social work of the "Granjas Infantiles Jesús Obrero", ensuring productivity, stability, technical and economic sustainability of the crop.

Project Components

Transfer of technical knowledge:

Transfer of practical knowledge in the management of a crop of Guava tech. Qualify labor in assembling and managing a crop of Guava tech.

 Production:

Invest the necessary resources to implement a Guava tech cultive. Optimize the physical, human and financial resources to ensure productivity, stability, sustainability and economic technical Guava cultivation.

Marketing: Ensure marketing Guava crop production.

Social component:
Generate employment for young benefactors of the "Granjas Infantiles Jesús Obrero". Contribute to social work with a productive project that is self-sustaining.
